Loucas Valetopoulos
Loucas (55) turned Valeur into a full-service real estate advisor in 2005. Loucas had previously held managerial positions in corporate and investment banking with CITIBANK, BNP and ABN-AMRO. He effectively set up ELKE as its first General Manager (the Greek Government Investment Promotion Agency, later renamed Invest in Greece and currently Enterprise Greece). He was Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at ELECTRA, a subsidiary of PIRAEUS BANK, listed on the Athens Stock Exchange (now operating as TRASTOR – PIRAEUS BANK’s REIT). He has served as a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the ex-listed PROTON Bank from 9/2006 to 9/2008. Loucas was CEO of IRF from 10/2006 to 6/2014, an investment vehicle listed on the Specialty Fund Market in London seeking opportunities in the financial sector in Europe with emphasis in south eastern europe. Loucas is an accredited property valuer from both RICS and TEGOVA. He is registered on the List of Approved Values of the Ministry of Justice and serves as Expert Witness having provided Expert Witness and/or Fair Value opinions in various litigations. He holds a B.Sc (Economics) from the LSE and a M.Phil (Development Studies) from the University of Sussex in the UK.

Dr Spyros Sarantopoulos
Spyros (55) joined Valeur in August 2006 coming from the management consultancy sector and bringing an unrivalled background in full technoeconomical & feasibility studies, project management, project evaluation and valuation. He has completed more than 150 technical-economic studies for numerous companies across a great variety of sectors within the Greek economy. Spyros’ particular expertise lies in EU-(co) financed programs and his unrivalled expertise in machinery valuation. He has served as a member of committees of public bodies in Greece and the EU. He was a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of the listed EPILEKTOS textile company (2002-2007). Spyros is an MRICS in Machinery and Business Assets and a Property expert valuer accredited by TEGOVA. He is the Head of the scientific working group on machinery valuation at ELIE (Hellenic Institute of Valuation. He holds a PhD in Offshore & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strachlyde, UK having studied in Greece and the UK.
